debian-lan-config software package provides FAI config space for the Debian-LAN system, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install debian-lan-config
debian-lan-config is installed in your system.
Make ensure the debian-lan-config package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep debian-lan-config *
You will get with debian-lan-config package name, version, architecture and description in a table
